Diseases transmitted by food, water or through the environmentDiarrheic diseases are very frequent among travelers who do not take precautions. Protect yourself from sun and heat to avoid burns and sunstrokes. The risk of bilharziosis exists in the Anti-Atlas and High-Atlas, coastal areas, oases and irrigated regions. Due to the risk of parasitic infestations, travelers are advised not to bathe in fresh waters (lake, rivers) and should not walk bare-foot. |
